Padded Adjustable Back System
This rucksack comes with an integrated back system that can be adjusted to suit different back heights. It has three different positions and they can be easily set by using the velcro adjuster. Using such a system and adjusting it to your back will make it much more comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps, lumbar support and waist straps are also heavily padded to add even more comfort.
Zip Away Shoulder Straps
A standard feature of travel backpacks is the facility to hide the shoulder straps and back system behind a zipped panel. This is mainly done to protect the straps from damage during flights, coach journeys and general storage.
Zip Out Expanding Section
This unique feature of Gelert travel backpacks is the option to increase the volume of the pack when needed. Simply use the zips down the side of the pack and it will allow the main pack depth to be increased giving you more storage space.
Easy Access Main Compartment
To aid in packing and easy access this backpack opens like a suitcase would with the whole front folding open. This allows for easy access to all areas of your pack unlike traditional top loading rucksacks.
Detachable Shoulder Strap
This bag also features a removeable shoulder strap which is useful for carrying the bag like a holdall or for when you have zipped away the main back system. The bag also includes top and side handles to assist in carrying.
Inter Locking Security Zips
These special zips clip together and allow a small padlock to be passed through the two zips to stop them opening. By clipping together even small items cannot be pulled out of your bag.
High Visibility Rain Cover
The rain cover is hidden in a pocket at the base of the pack. It can be used to protect the bag from rain and showers when used outdoors. It can also be used to protect straps on the front of the pack during transit.
Removable Daysack
This backpack has a removable daysack which is attached to the main pack via zips. During flights etc both packs can be combined but at the destination the daysack can be used separately for day trips and for storing valuables whilst leaving your main pack in your room. The daysack features padded shoulder straps, interlocking security zips, front zipped pocket & side mesh pockets and an CD/MP3 port.
