Chlorine is the most commonly used chemical to treat water that may not be safe to drink or is suspect. This handy pack of chlorine water treatment tablets from Lifesystems contains 60 chlorine tablets. Each tablet is capable of treating up to a litre of water, making it safe to drink.
The chlorine acts as a cleaner by killing pathogens and waterborne diseases, that can be found in water, helping to keep you free from illness when travelling abroad. Also ideal for treating water used to clean your teeth, as well as water used to wash fruit, vegetables & salad.
How to use Lifesystems Chlorine Tablets:
Make sure the water you wish to treat is relatively clear, remove as much debris and particles as possible before treatment. Debris can be removed by straining the water with a piece of cotton or fine-weave fabric. Use 1 tablet for every litre of water, for water that is very cold or suspected to be heavily contaminated, use 2 tablets per litre of water. Shake the water thoroughly and leave to stand for 10 minutes before consumption. If you have used 2 tablets, wait at least 30 minutes before drinking.
