Our VAT registration number is GB 889 1515 79. These terms and conditions will apply between you and Silverfox Global Ltd Store via www.gapyeartravelstore.com when you purchase an item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
You warrant that all details you provide to www.gapyeartravelstore.com for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.
You agree that e-mail can be used as a method of communicating with you.
Silverfox Global Ltd reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if:
- you fail to make payment to us when due;
- you breach any of our terms and conditions;
- when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity;

PRICING & ORDERING
By completing and submitting the electronic order via this website you agree to these terms and conditions.
By completing and submitting the electronic order you are making an offer to purchase goods that, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. A binding contract will only result when we have notified you that your goods have been dispatched.
In the event Silverfox Global Ltd (T/A The Gap Year Travel Store) declines your order we shall provide you with a full refund.
Once an order has been despatched we cannot change the delivery address from that originally stated on the order.
A confirmation email will be sent to the email address given when you placed the order and will detail products ordered, payment method, cost (including VAT and P&P) and delivery method
All prices on stated on our websites are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate (where applicable).
Orders will not be processed until the customer’s funds have cleared in full.
All transactions will be carried out in Sterling.
The laws of the United Kingdom govern all purchases via this website.
We always endeavour to have our product range in stock, but we do sometimes experience delays in our suppliers delivering to us. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you to inform you of any delay that we are aware of and or offer you any suitable alternatives. Of course, you always have the option of cancelling your order.
The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. Please be aware that delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen factors.
Silverfox Global Ltd will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control, for example: strike action, 3rd party delays, traffic or weather constraints and therefore will not accept liability for late delivery under these circumstances.
In the event of requests for goods to be left at unattended premises (for example – in a garage or with a neighbour) by the Customer, then these are done so at the customers own risk & liability.
Silverfox Global Ltd accepts most major credit/debit cards: Mastercard, Visa & Visa Debit
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
You are entitled to cancel this contract and receive a full refund provided that you exercise your right within 45 days after the day on which you receive the products.
The procedures for cancellation are detailed below and vary depending at what stage of the order process you are at.
If you haven’t already submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping basket at any time prior by clicking the ‘Remove’ button next to the product ordered in your shopping basket.
If you have submitted your order, you can still cancel your order up to the point of us beginning to process your order – please either call our customer services team or email your cancellation request to us. If we have not already begun processing your order at the point of us receiving your request then your cancellation request will be honoured immediately upon our receipt of your request and no payment will be taken.
If you wish to cancel your order after we have begun processing your order then you can return your order to us, in which case we will refund the full cost of the goods that you return to us (please see our returns procedure for more information).
Once we’ve received notification from you that you wish to cancel an order, any sum charged by us to your credit or debit card will be re-credited to that credit or debit account within 7 days of the return being received, provided the goods you return are in the same condition that they were when delivered to you.
You will be liable to any charges incurred when returning the goods to Silverfox Global Ltd, unless the return is as a result of an error on our part.
Goods must be returned to us in an “as new” re-saleable condition. It is advisable to use a recorded delivery service, or at a minimum obtain a proof of posting at the post office in the unlikely event the goods are lost in transit. You may wish to take out additional insurance for high value items.
You may return unwanted goods to us for a full refund of the original paid amount at any time within 45 days of receiving the items. Exceptions to this are listed below.
The Gap Year Travel Store will not refund postage costs incurred in returning the goods. Goods must be returned to us in an ‘as new’ re-saleable condition. It is advisable to use a recorded delivery service, or at a minimum obtain a proof of posting at the post office in the unlikely event the goods are lost in transit. You must also take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged whilst in your care or in transit. If returned goods arrive in a damaged or unsaleable condition you will not receive a refund.

LOST, DAMAGED OR MISSING GOODS
Where goods are damaged in transit Silverfox Global Ltd will replace the item free of charge. We may ask for proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim against the courier.
In the unlikely event you have not received your parcel within 7 working days we would first ask you to carry out the following checks
- That you have not been carded by Royal Mail to collect from your local sorting office.
- That it has not been left in or outside your home i.e. a greenhouse, bin, porch or left with a neighbour.
Having carried out the above checks please contact us by telephone or via email stating your order reference, delivery address and contact details. We shall investigate lost packages with our courier partners and will arrange a replacement or full refund in the event the goods cannot be found.
Silverfox Global Ltd cannot be held liable for lost or damaged parcels where the customer supplies incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order.
On delivery of your order please inspect the parcel contents carefully. Any missing items must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your goods. If an item is missing please contact us by phone or email.
Silverfox Global Ltd operates a rapid replacement or no-quibble money-back guarantee for any products found to be faulty. Please first contact us by phone on 0333 335 5192 or use our contact form so that arrangements can be made for products to be returned wherever possible with their original packaging. Silverfox Global Ltd will reimburse postage costs of the return of faulty goods to the customer.
We reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.
We may modify these Conditions at any time by posting the Conditions on our website. You may terminate your contract with us if you reasonably consider that you have been disadvantaged by any change we may make to these Condition
If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on www.gapyeartravelstore.com is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount within 7 days of the date of order.
We have taken all reasonable measures to provide accurate product images for each product for sale on the site. However, please be aware that due to a number of mitigating factors such as Internet browsers and monitor colour contrasts colours may appear to vary slightly from the product as it appears on your screen and we cannot be held responsible or liable for any minor colour discrepancies between the image and the actual product.

Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the Site or for any products or services purchased from us.
We have taken all reasonable measures to prevent Internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers.
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the content on the Website are owned by us. Any access or use of the Website for any reason other than your personal, non-commercial use is. No part of the Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or Website without our prior written permission.
