If you’re travelling to India you may well notice that they have their own unique plug socket in some areas of the country. The India plug sockets are designed for use with a 3 pin round plug (Type D) which is not as easy to come by as European and USA type adapters. The India adapter will also work in Sri Lanka.
This India plug adapter accepts plugs from the UK and allows you to use your appliances from home when travelling in India. Simply plug your UK plug into it and then plug into an Indian wall socket! The plug adapter is earthed and is fully safety approved and certified to new safety standards (BS 8546).
