Vango 1-2 Season Planet 50 Insect Proof Sleeping Bag

The award winning Vango Planet 50 has had a revamp, with new and improved anti-bacterial, anti-mosquito & anti-bed bug protection! Vango Shield is an effective insect repellent treatment, which also helps to prevent the growth of the bacteria which results in unpleasant odours and mould - a godsend when you're travelling in those hot and sticky climates! The Planet 50 is designed to be as lightweight and compact as possible, weighing in at just 900g and compressing down to a tiny 22 x 15cm in size, making it the perfect option for travellers.

As well as featuring Vango Shield treatment, the sleeping bag also has another mosquito repellent trick up its sleeve in the form of an optional hood mosquito net! The net is also coated in anti-bacterial treatment and repels mosquitoes, midges and other insects to prevent them biting your face during the night. You can also keep the net zipped over the hood during the day to prevent insects from making their way inside the sleeping bag - so there'll be no unpleasant surprised when you climb inside it later! When you're not using the net, you can unzip it and stash it inside the dedicated mosquito net pocket inside the sleeping bag for safe keeping.

The Planet 50 also comes with a generously sized internal pocket, which is great for storing valuables such as your mobile phone during the night. Another handy feature of this sleeping bag is the reversible stuff sack, which has a fleecy lining and can be turned inside out, stuffed with clothes and used as a pillow! The sleeping bag's 1-2 season rating makes it ideal for use in warmer climates, with a comfort temperature of 11°C, and it can be opened out and used as a blanket if you get too warm! If you yourself in a highly humid destination you can unzip the bottom of the sleeping bag and create some air flow, whilst keeping protected due to the built in mosquito net that can be found in the foot of the sleeping bag.
