Men and women are built differently, it's as simple as that. For this reason, more and more backpack manufacturers have included female specific models in their ranges. The main way to differentiate between a unisex rucksack and one which has been designed specifically for women is by looking at the back length on the shoulder harness. Women's backpacks are designed with a shorter back length, as women generally have a shorter torso compared to men. You may also find features such as more contoured shoulder straps, to prevent them from digging into your chest and even additional padding on the hip belt for comfort and support. We've also got some great coloured backpacks, with feminine colours for female travellers who want a stylish backpack for their travels. Not all of the backpacks in this range come with female specific back systems, so make sure you check the backpack's specification before you buy. Shorter males may also find that the shorter back length on some of these packs is better suited to them than some of the unisex travel packs and rucksacks available.
The towel rolls up incredibly small and is dry almost as soon as you hang it up. It is as large as a bath towel too, so feels pretty luxurious. It took up about 1/2 of the space that my usual beach towel would.
